My boyfriend Bret Michaels saves me from the Bull Woman

Dudes, dudes, I have no choice but to confess that I have had yet another dream about Bret Michaels. This marks the third in a series, prompted no doubt by his recent brain hemorrhage, win of Celebrity Apprentice and appearance on American Idol- but who's keeping track?

I dreamed that Bret was my boyfriend and we were going to a sweat lodge in Kentucky. On the way there we passed a carpenter's work room and we stopped so he could show me what a great craftsman he is by making me a snow board. When we got to the site of the sweat lodge, we saw that it had been taken over by the evil bull-woman-with-claws from the second season of True Blood. I was really scared but my boyfriend Bret said "I'll protect you" and then I woke up and laughed my ass off.

Former Homes and Lovers

It's been a long time since I've posted a dream. I'm usually like my sister Reem, dreaming vividly and remembering all the details. But it's been strange for the last month I haven't been dreaming at all. In few days I have had a few dreams, but none of which I could remember when I woke up. But I finally remember a few details today so I figured that I should probably write them down in an effort to will my dream memory back.

I dreamed that I was moving out of my old house on Killian Street (which I did in real life over 3 years ago). Instead of moving to the house I live in now, I was moving into this beautiful, airy loft. As I was packing things up I kept finding dust bunnies in the corners in the living room and stacks of old pictures of my family.

In another dream, I had reunited with a former lover of mine, this rebellious political folk singer that I haven't seen in years. We laid in bed in my room of my parent's house and we kept asking each questions on topics I really enjoy discussing, and both giving answers I'd give. (Example: "Don't you love songs that play on the theme of Hush Little Baby?" "Yes! Like Bob Weir's Ashes and Glass, or Dudley by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and sometimes I even think Bright Eyes' Bowl of Oranges..."

Then we went for a long walk outside in fields of snow. We wore snowshoes and and he found me a coral necklace. We ate salmon for dinner.

Cupcakes and Mom

I dreamed that I woke up in a room with a glass ceiling covered in snow and cupcakes. The cupcakes were chocolate with pink frosting and because they were face down on the glass, I could make out the tiny heart-shaped candies that decorated them. I felt the weight and warmth of the sage green quilt over my body and thought about how finally nothing hurt.

"Good Morning!" my mother smiled from the doorway. Not wanting to move from the coziness and comfort I asked her to get me a cupcake. She went outside the little room which now appeared to be the greenhouse that my grandmother used to grow tomatoes in, and propped up a ladder against the glass. As she climbed up and reached for the cupcake snow fell down around the places she touched.

When she handed me the cupcake I saw that some of the hearts were missing. I looked up and saw that they remained on the glass in the spot where the cupcake used to be.

Snow and Macaroni

Last night I dreamed that I couldn't go to my Saturday morning meeting in Macon because there was a snowstorm. It's wishful dreaming- lamenting the awful smoggy humid 90-100 degree Georgia weather and the fact that I have to wake up early on a Saturday to drive an hour and a half to a meeting. So transparent sometimes!

Then there's the other dream last night in which my hair turned to macaroni and cheese and was all drippy and disgusting like Pizza the Hut from Spaceballs. Sick.
