The other morning I was getting dressed and announced to my honey that I was going to wear my kuffiyeh print dress. By saying just those words he all of a sudden remembered his dream from that night which he otherwise had forgotten about (it involved the loss of sandwiches and a face covered in a kuffiyeh).
He then remarked that he thought that maybe all dreams have keys. The keys are words or sights that can open up what might otherwise be in a locked part of our memory. He said that he thinks that each key has a limited life, and if they aren't uttered or seen within a certain amount of time they disappear forever, rendering that dream inaccessible.
I loved this concept and had to share it with other dream weavers.
